Our Community
Mr. M has always acknowledged the needs of the community and has an especially soft spot for children, the elderly and abused women. M-KEM has been involved in numerous initiatives over the years and continues to extend support to the community when possible.
M-KEM has involved both customers and staff in many of the community initiates in a fun, practical way. This include the food for thought campaign, cancer, rape crisis, knitting blankets, Shavathons and selling shoes to buy school shoes to mention a few.
Youth Day 2021
In honour of Youth Day in June, M-KEM 24 Hour Pharmacy was able to donate R16000 to the Peninsula School Feeding Association to utilize for the feeding scheme at local school, Parrow Valley Primary. In addition to this, M-KEM staff knitted over 70 scarves for children in need at the school. Due to COVID and locks downs at schools, we were only able to hand over in this month but are proud to have been able to make a small difference in these difficult times.
